Granite Cascades is a nature retreat in a beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the headwaters of the Mary River. Here you can enjoy nature at its best. Granite Cascades offer beautiful creekside private camping on a total of 160 acres which is a Nature Refuge and protected area. We are at the end of dirt road so you feel you are in the middle of a wilderness. This is a quiet retreat where you can soak in nature, restore your soul and relax. There is a mixture of eucalypt forests and rainforests in the headwaters of the Mary river. The creek is inviting to explore with swimming pools to cool down. The forest here is diverse, from subtropical rainforest to open eucalypt forest. There are walking tracks which let you explore more of what the property has to offer. If you fancy a Sunday coffee or relaxing breakfast we are only 5kms from Crystal Waters Ecovillage (They host movies, markets, music nights, yoga, artisan bakery and a cafe). I am an artist and manage my property for its ecological value. I love to share my love of this special place with others. Guided nature walks can be also arranged.

Hot minute stay
We needed something last minute and Dianne’s property was great! A bit bummed we only did the 1 night. Definitely would come here again, this place would be incredible in the summer time with the fresh little swim holes ect!

So beautiful and peaceful. Last time I was so fascinated by the creek that I didn’t notice just how impressive the forest is…

It was a beautiful stay although the directions were hard to understand and some signs for what site is what would be lovely! The photos all look the same but most of the campsites there is a fence in between you and the creek!

Sunset Ridge@ peek-a-view tents
I love the silent nature and beautiful creeks. No noise of cars or people. I can hear only nature’s sound. Very well maintained and cozy.
