We have a beautiful 600 acre cattle property with plenty of room to spread out where other campers are nowhere in sight.  Here you will find that the serenity meets the bush. We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on Gootchie Creek, and around our very large spring fed billabongs that never dry up. Come and enjoy the green flat grassy sites along the creek, you may even see the resident platypus. Enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. Bring your hammock and gaze at cloud shapes. Camp fires permitted and bring along your pet too. We are located 45kms north of Gympie. In town you will find all the shops, fuel and supplies for your camping trip. A dump point has now been installed on our property for your convenience.Gootchie Creek Escape .... where serenity and the bush meet. We are a 600 acre property located 45kms north of Gympie.  We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on the Gootchie Creek and around our very large spring fed Billabongs that never dry up.  Come and enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. What an absolutely beautiful location. Love that everyone cleans up after there dogs and follows the instruction to be on leash. Already looking at dates yo go back.

Great spot, quiet and well organised, would definitely stay again. We only had one night, but would stay longer for sure.

Gootchie Creek Escape
Great open camp sites mid week and plenty of space. The grounds are mostly flat and hardly needed levelling the caravan. The pond has a good outlook, that’s where we camped. It did become the go to spot for campers towards the weekend. I would get it early to get a prime spot. There was a little bit of engine noise from the Bruce. The firewood is a little steep at $20 a bag (20kg) but was of good quality. If you want alcohol then it’s best to bring it with you - the nearest Hotel is not too far at 15min.

Gootchie Creek Escape
This campsite is spectacular, we swag camped at the billabong and couldnt say anything bad about this place. Its far enough away from everything that it really feels like the middle of nowhere, but still driving distance from a shop for a stock up. Beautiful site as well, everything was very well maintained and the bathrooms were clean and showers well maintained. Definitely recommend!
