GLOWS Garden Centre Camp is set in a large field backing onto world heritage rainforest to the East/South and adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials Yard to the north. We have only opened 3 x sites at this stage as it's a work in progress :) There are 3 Sites opening 1st September 2024 and only 200m away is a cafe at our Garden Centre for a great coffee 6 days a week! You will need to be self-sufficient however we do have a cold water shower and toilets available between 7am and 5pm in the adjoining Garden Centre. We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opening in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

We loved the peace and quiet here! Only a short drive to town and the owners very lovely. Would stay again.

Site 2 "Ole Big Rock"
We booked so last second and everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Great spot to stop and relax- nice green grass and big sites. We would recommend 💗 Thanks for having us!

Site 2 "Ole Big Rock"
Plenty of room for those big rigs.
We absolutely loved staying at this lovely little hipcamp. Originally we had site 2 booked in but were told on arrival that no one else was booked so we could choose from any 😀 Site 4 is what we ended up choosing which was a massive site too. Our van is 9.5mtrs all up so a large van, and we had plenty of room and was easy to setup. Our first morning while having breakfast we were super surprised to see a cassowary right at our back door. The kids were so excited and was our first to see on our trip so far. Plenty of room for the kids to roam and kick the ball and plenty of chickens to feed for there entertainment. Fire pits on each site although it was a little warm so we didn't have one. Got to meet Nancy whom was really lovely and accommodating, and made sure we were having a great time Thankyou so much Nancy for letting us stay on your piece of land, if we are ever back up this way we will definitely rebook. Highly recommend this hipcamp. Perfect location for being central to everything. Woolworths just a short 3 mins drive up the road. The cafe out the front made a delicious coffee aswell. Shane and Nancy are such lovely hosts, easy clear communication which made my stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Beautiful grren camp right next to the rainforest.
