All of our camp sites are EXCLUSIVE unless you are travelling with others, you will have complete privacy and uninterrupted time during your stay at Francvillers. After years of hosting the odd group of people, friends of friends or distant acquaintances - it got us to thinking; there is a reason why they just keep coming back. We are located 25 minutes south of Cunnamulla, South West QLD. We offer seclusion, only taking three to four self-sufficient groups at a time ensuring complete privacy, no shared space. Just the real Outback. Weather permitting. Your only neighbours out here are the wildlife and our stock. The camping spot is right beside a dam/bore drain, with good access from the main road, wet weather permitting. We have an endless supply of Gidgee wood around the camp spot, its the third densest wood in the world, which makes it the ultimate firewood for campers! You can walk, bird watch, fish, swim or just sit back and soak up the country atmosphere. Pets are welcome to join you but please keep dogs on a leash as we have sheep and cattle in the paddock you’ll be camping in.

Lake Paddock Camp Site
Bathing under the stars
Sarah was warm and welcoming to her beautiful property. We were able to bathe under the stars in the wood fired bath and even got a gourmet meal of yabbies out of the nearby lagoon. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Really peaceful & quiet campsite and communication with Sarah was easy. Beautiful spot with plenty of firewood and I would love to stay again next time I’m up that way. Thanks Sarah for the last two nights of peace before back into busy life

Lake Paddock Camp Site
Memories were made!
We wanted the “Artesian Bath” experience without the crowds. This place did not disappoint. It was actually better than we expected! Yes you have to build your own fire for the bath, but we had fun collecting firewood on our walks and creating a fire. Solitude, relaxation and a dam heaving with yabbies! Definitely recommend!

Lake Paddock Camp Site
Secluded and peaceful camp site.
We actually stayed at the Ridge Paddock Campground (I think) due to rain making the Lake Campground inaccessible. We made a last minute booking and Sarah was extremely accommodating. The camp site was lovely with plenty of water in the dam, relatively flat areas for camping under the shade of some lovely gums, and plenty of wood for fire. Pet friendly too! Great, quiet spot off the road. Sarah was really helpful and welcoming and we had all the space to ourselves.
