Please also note that due to fire risk we now have a ban on campfires until the end of the dry season * Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is set on a private 260 acre rural property at the end of an unsealed road surrounded by the peace and serenity of state forest. A highlight is a beautiful permanent creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles, an abundance of bird life and towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. We have 5 available campsites, spread well apart (although visible) all with amazing views. 4 are close to or on the banks of Flaggy Creek. Bluff View campsite (a favourite spot of ours) is set in a large grassy field near an iron bark tree, 150m via a mowed track to the creek. Maximum occupancy per campsite is 2 guests (of any age). All camp sites have their own fire pit (season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own from the property. If you are traveling with friends and everyone wants to book a site with us we would be delighted to host you but please ensure that you set up your caravan/tent/swag individually at each site noting the maximum occupancy of 2 guests per site.

A great spot. Easy signage to your campsite. Well-spaced camp sites with a fire ring overlooking a beautiful creek that has a leisurely walking track to it and a platypus in it. The host, Tim, delivered my firewood, so all I had to do was sit back and enjoy this peaceful place. 10/10

What a spot! Flaggy Creek is absolutely beautiful and with only 4 spots you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. There’s a creek running down below to spot Platypus and endless walking trails to explore. A hidden gem !

Great spot and host
Great spot, with really well signposted sites and great thought put into the layout. We loved the fire ring, the easy spot to pull up, being able to collect our own firewood, and being able to see the milky way from camp at night. If you walk down to the river at the right time, there are definitely platypus down there! I saw their ripples but not them this time round :D. Very friendly and welcoming host also. The directions to camp were also clear and easy to follow. We got down very easily in our sprinter campervan. We reccomend this spot :)
