Ferns Hideaway Camping & Cabins
Camping at its finest
Beautiful property, full of wildlife and love. Lots of camping options with access to facilities. We loved the trails and canoe activities. Did not use the tennis court or swimming pool, but will definitely leave time for next time. The owners were helpful and friendly and we would definitely come again.

Ferns Hideaway Camping & Cabins
We had a rough start to our stay here. Our site was situated in the main campground which we found to be a small area to squish a lot of people into. Yes, it was school holidays but the sites are very small. We were so close to people we could hear them breathe and who would constantly walk through our site. The pool was out of order and looks like it will be out for some time but no notice or advice around this before our arrival. We expressed our concerns to the owners and they moved us to a new site the second and final night which made a significant difference to our stay. This site was in the secluded section and closest to the creek and we were finally able to relax.

Ferns Hideaway Camping & Cabins
Tranquil getaway, old world charm
Gorgeous campground with everything you need for a tranquil getaway or a base to explore Byfield NP. The hosts, Wayne and Anna, are accommodating and have worked hard to make the Hideaway experience one to remember. The place has great facilities as well as walking tracks, canoeing and gorgeous gardens and landscaping. Nested in the rainforest, along the Water Park Creek, it’s a stunning location.
