Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a relaxing base to discover what Hervey Bay has to offer. We are on 19 acres with goats, chickens, a rooster, alpacas and cows. Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. It is an 8 min drive to the local food works, BP servo, chemist and a 12 min drive for takeaway options. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided. Families are welcome although children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a very large dam on the property with ducks and turtles. Children are including in the booking.

Camping at the property was more than I expected! Tammy happily greeted me and showed me around offering all kinds of helpful gestures and assistance in any ways she could think of. Both Tammy and her hubby were beautifully welcoming and the property itself was peaceful, comfortable, friendly and offered great facilities and little things to do on the property.

Such a great little spot and so handy for Hervey Bay- quiet and comfortable campground with excellent facilities and super hot showers! 100% recommended for a short or long stay- Tammy is a great host!

Perfect place to stop.
This place is Harvey Bays best kept secret! Tammy’s place is perfect if you want to escape the crowds but still be close enough to see around town. The communication was brilliant & Tammy couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable! Highly recommend!

Tree Haven
Lovely outlook and bonus goats!
Lovely welcoming host. She gave us a spot with a view of the dam, with trees to hang our hammock. My daughter loved feeding the goats, and the alpacas next door looking at us over the fence were amusing. Tammy was relaxed about our check-out time, which we appreciated, so we stayed until just before 1pm and went straight to the airport. There is a little bit of traffic noise from the highway but not loud enough to disturb your sleep. We'd love to stay here again.

Fantastic camping spot
Tammy was the most amazing and gracious host. We aren’t experienced campers- yet Tammy welcomed and settled us. The camping area was beautiful with a lovely fire pit. She was so kind and let the kids help with the goats and animals. Only 12 ish minutes from Hervey Bay- but a beautiful spot to see the stars and be away from it all. We saw wild kangaroos in the morning that were passing through the farmland. We had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
