Our 3 acre property is located a convenient 10 minutes south of the Cairns CBD. The Cairns region has so much to offer. Head out to one of the eateries overlooking the water or chill out on the promenade with its free swimming pool. Take a scenic tour up the mountain to Kuranda and check out their iconic markets. Go snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef or enjoy a boat cruise to an island. The campsite features a large flat grassy area with great access for 2WDs and all types of camping vehicles from caravans to campervans and motorhomes. Plenty of room to turn your vehicle around and a lockable gate means your campsite is secure. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. Our front paddock is visited nightly by lots and lots as wallabies. We have fantastic sunrises and sunsets here. You’ll really love the great views we have towards the east and west. No campfires or pets please.Hidden behind a new residential property, the private campsite features a large flat grassy area with nesting birds, views to the hills that surround Cairns. Easy Camping at Wallaby Nights
Although we arrived late in the evening, Alex gave us a friendly welcome and showed us our pitch for the night. It was a quiet site and the current construction work on the neighboring property didn't start early in the morning. We were able to get fresh water and the wallabies also showed up in the morning. Thanks Alex for the great stay. Best regards Family Heller

Easy Camping at Wallaby Nights
Close to Cairns and stress free
Loads of space and very quiet in the evening, with the famed wallabies to watch in the adjacent field. There’s building work happening in a recent subdivision, which we were forewarned about, but the builders were done by the time we returned early evening. Alex was lovely and even left us a stocked fire pit to use. Highly recommended for a cheap and easy option close to Cairns.

Great spot to camp on your way into cairns. Alex was so helpful with advice about who could help fix our Truma water heater. Lots of wallabies at night and very peaceful campsite.

Easy Camping at Wallaby Nights
Peaceful camping easy to city
Such a beautiful spot for camping! We arrived after dark and found the field already full of wallabys! In the morning it was an easy 15 minute drive into Cairns CBD to catch our diving trip. Thanks for having us!
