Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. The Hilltop on our place is a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage, and even if you are camped at Creekside, you are welcome to walk or drive up to hilltop. Just remember we are a working property, so leave gates as you find them. Our property is an easy drive from wineries, large dams, Bunya Mountains, art galleries, state forests, mountain bike tracks, and scenic Kingaroy. We are dog friendly as long as dogs are not aggressive and well controlled. This is our main camping area with toilet and shower adjacent to the creek. The site is well drained and relatively flat with good access for vans and RVs. The creek has been running well and adjacent to the camp-site it is shallow and sandy. Great to sit a chair in and cool your heels. There is also a large deep waterhole 200m from the camping area for swimming. This area is secluded and tranquil with plenty of birdlife to be seen in the trees along the creek. Fires are allowed in designated area or in 'off ground' braziers or fire rings.

Creekside
Our favourite hidden gem
Such a good spot. Plenty of space for people to enjoy some privacy on the quieter weekends! The toilets are conveniently located, so there isn’t much of a walk from wherever you set up to use the loo. Love the communal shed and fire pit available. Plenty of fire rings and fire wood available for self collection in the dedicated fire wood paddock.

Absolutely brilliant!
Beautiful peaceful spot on such a lovely creek. Able to sit in the creek on my banana lounge and hop in for a dip when i got hot. The bath under the stars was amazing. My dog loved it there too and the farm dogs Noodle and Loofy were so gorgeous. Top spot. We highly recommend and will definitely go back 😊

Best Value Hipcamp in Queensland
Creekside is the best value Hipcamp I have ever stayed at in Queensland. At just $10 a night it is truly great value. With a wood fired hot water bath and a shower, plus toilets, the hosts have gone out of their way to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. The free firewood is a real bonus too! Set on a working farm the large grass camp area spans a beautiful running creek, so you have plenty of space to choose your perfect camp spot in the shade from the afternoon sun. I spent five nights here and loved it, as I was lucky enough to have fantastic Spring weather and a Super Moon at night. I highly recommend Creekside as a beautiful campsite in its own right, but at just $10 a night it is outstanding value and puts other overpriced campsites to shame. I will definitely be back, as it is an easy and pleasant two hour plus drive from Brisbane. Speaking of which, this is grey nomad heartland, so you can expect delays on the roads stuck behind caravans or RVs. Nearly every town is RV friendly and the showgrounds are often packed with grey nomads. Unfortunately, this means so are the cafes and bakeries! Creekside is an oasis; there is not a caravan or RV in sight.
