Lovely camping area. Liked the proximity to the creek and that it was dog friendly. This time of year was bad for Mozzies so a fire, spray and coils were a must.

Good spot for a night
Had some good flat ground, grass was not long like other reviews. The river behind was awesome and very scenic for a walk along and have a dip in, I was the only camper on the property that was nice, male bathrooms are old and dirty not very clean, no soap for hand washing was a bit disappointing, light in the shower area didn’t work and made it hard to shower at any time of the day, think it needs a bit of love to the facility’s I think

Take something for the mozzies!
Take insect repellent! We forgot, we suffered. The mosquitos are relentless. Fantastic camping spot not far from Townsville. Great amenities, awesome access to creek for swimming.

Absolutely disgusting....avoid
Avoid avoid avoid!!! Toilets were disgusting!!! Ladies bins over following, no soap no toilet roll. "Caretaker" had large dog aggressively barking, no issues there until the next morning the dog is off lead and taking multiple shits on our site. For the cost of a big 4 it was a massive disappointment....we booked 2 nights, we slept one night and got out of there as fast as we could!!! Very unwelcoming and absolutely not family friendly.
