Absolutely disgusting....avoid
Avoid avoid avoid!!! Toilets were disgusting!!! Ladies bins over following, no soap no toilet roll. "Caretaker" had large dog aggressively barking, no issues there until the next morning the dog is off lead and taking multiple shits on our site. For the cost of a big 4 it was a massive disappointment....we booked 2 nights, we slept one night and got out of there as fast as we could!!! Very unwelcoming and absolutely not family friendly.

We didn’t even stay there, we turned up and saw a very messy abandoned tent camp next to the road and decided this was not the place for us !

Like always, had a wonderful stay.
Some unsavoury campers continuously left rubbish along the trail to the river but we kept cleaning it up. Leave it as you found it is always my motto.
Thanks Vaughn for providing this beautiful property for us to stay again and again. We will be back again when it's cooler again!

The actual camp is great, a beautiful spot. We nearly didn't stay here due to the terrible reviews. Old caretaker has departed. New caretaker only just taken over when we stayed. Lawns were mowed, sites level, plenty of shade and a lovely aspect. Amenities Block was feral. Dirty, broken, cobwebs were epic. Unbelievable that the Health inspector hasn't been involved. If you have your own bathroom or aren't at all fussy no worries. If you expect caravan park standard toilets, nope that's not what's on offer. We would stay again because we have our own facilities otherwise if you have an alternative choice, perhaps consider that. Caravan park at murtarnee has a hip camp and I'd highly recommend that. Not often i would leave a bad review but good luck with this one.

Awesome relaxing camp site.
While I paid for a powered site, we set up and stayed at the non powered site.
It was relaxing closer to the water, and amenities.
Really happy with the decision regardless of paying for powered.
