Crystal Creek Campsite- Powered
The actual camp is great, a beautiful spot. We nearly didn't stay here due to the terrible reviews. Old caretaker has departed. New caretaker only just taken over when we stayed. Lawns were mowed, sites level, plenty of shade and a lovely aspect. Amenities Block was feral. Dirty, broken, cobwebs were epic. Unbelievable that the Health inspector hasn't been involved. If you have your own bathroom or aren't at all fussy no worries. If you expect caravan park standard toilets, nope that's not what's on offer. We would stay again because we have our own facilities otherwise if you have an alternative choice, perhaps consider that. Caravan park at murtarnee has a hip camp and I'd highly recommend that. Not often i would leave a bad review but good luck with this one.

An expensive ghost camp!
Would not recommend. Although the site itself was quite serene, it is clear that there has been little effort put into maintenance. For the price - $90 for a family of 6 unpowered site you would at least expect toilet paper in the bathroom. Many of the locks were broken, no soap, no toilet paper. Mosquitos were pretty bad and the host did not reply to my query regarding pricing (another camper informed me that it was a FREE SITE). We met a lovely lady up the road at a fruit stall who informed us that you could stay up the road for $7pn. The rock slides further up were phenomenal. A shame I didn’t do some more research. The camp (national park run) up the road had incredibly clean facilities.

Not great
Not great.
-The whole site is next to a main road that has a lot of roads that can be heard from the main camping area.
- There is rubbish everywhere on the site.
-The creek itself is very nice with a lot of life

Disappointed!
Overcrowded, partying and loud music till late, off lead dogs roaming around with no communication at all from the host. Not the best when camping with young kids. The creek itself is beautiful and with a bit of a walk you can go enjoy it, just watch the mosquitoes.

Great shady camp site with plenty of room and the swimming in the creek is great. A short drive up the range to little Crystal Creek and Paluma. Frosty Mango is 6 minutes away on the main highway
