We have over 12 acres of private, tropical parkland, that runs right along the Crystal Creek in Mutarnee, QLD. 2 hectares of this land is between the Crystal Creek Caravan Park and the Crystal Creek itself. This area has it's own amenities block (toilets and showers) and access to water. There is a large communal campfire in the middle, and plenty of space for a perfect getaway! Should you require it, there is also access to the caravan park's amenities block which includes more toilets and showers, a camp kitchen, and a laundry. This camp is right across the road from the Paluma National Park, little Crystal Creek, Big Crystal Creek, and numerous natural swimming holes. Right behind the camp is a boat ramp, and the beach is 10 minutes away. You will have access to walking tracks, mountain bike trails, bird-watching, swimming, fishing, crabbing... the list is endless!A beautiful, grassy, 2-acre area right next to Crystal Creek. Guests will have access to amenities by the creek with flushing toilets and showers. There are no power points here, but guests will have access to potable water. There is a communal firepit in the middle of the grounds for your use. Pull in and pick your spot! Access to the camping area is through the Crystal Creek Caravan Park.

Crystal Creek Campsite
Peaceful, plenty of space, grassy, saw our first Australian tarantula at the very clean toilets and hot showers (though we love nature so this was exciting for us! Along with a green tree frog 🧡). Easy to access, just off the highway and close to essentials.

Crystal Creek Campsite
We had a great time camping here. The spacious areas allowed us to spread out with lots of room for the kids to run and play without bothering others. The amenities were clean and welcomed! While we were hoping for creek access to cool off, it didn’t take away from the experience. The beautiful surroundings and easy access to Crystal Creek made up for it. Overall, this campsite is a fantastic getaway, we’ll definitely return!

Spacious and Nearby Swim Spots
The campsite is very spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. There are ample areas for activities like kicking a footy or for the kids to ride their bikes. It's not as close to the water as I initially thought. While it's accessible via a steep path, it doesn't offer a comfortable spot to sit while the kids swim and I was a little worried about crocs being so close to the mouth of the river. However, it's a quick 10 minute drive to reach Big Crystal Creek for a swim. Additionally, the adjoining caravan park has a pool, providing a spot to cool off and play within walking distance. The amenities were clean and well maintained, with plenty of hot water. A heads-up: fires need to be contained and placed on a fire blanket. The service station next door was super convenient for grabbing extra bags of ice and a sneaky sweet treat. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice spot to camp while still having access to some modern comforts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an unpowered site which was quiet, green grass, shade and a creek right there. Easy to deal with and pet friendly! Lots to see if you enjoy the outdoors. Thankyou - we will be back!

Perfect location
Very welcoming! Clean amenities, open space, very pet friendly! Even offer pet sitting services! Ability to use caravan park facilities is a bonus. We will stay again!
