Our second time here and it won't be the last. Even though we got rained out and left early, the kids still had a ball and we atleast had a 1 night get away. We will be back in the new year.

Perfect swimming hole.
What a spot! Has quickly been added to our favourite farm stay properties. Within an hour of pulling into site, we were cooling down in that beautiful waterhole. Some days we got in 3 or 4 times. Having it a short stroll from the van was ideal. The available sites are well spread out and the waterhole is quite long, so you're not on top of other guests. Lovely of the hosts to provide so many kayaks, kids bikes, toys, sand pit, rock painting station - it's so welcoming. Sue and Terry are wonderful hosts & getting shown around on arrival on the side by side is helpful. We especially loved watching the magnificent little Yellow Breasted Sun Bird feeding her nest-ful of babies hanging precariously over the waterhole. The mumma bird was just over 10cm with a brilliant yellow chest. 💛 Bring your thermacell and plenty of repellent. The mozzies (as expected) were big and bold, but with a good fire the second night, & the thermacell it was a lot more comfortable. We sat outside the van each night. We had a few horse flies but not many. There was some bitey critter like a midgee or ant that seemed impervious to our efforts on one day, but not enough to stop us going again soon! We are a really long rig - 22'6" van as well as the 2500 Ram & we had no trouble getting into the camp site. Thank you Sue & Terry for sharing your beautiful part of the world. We look forward to coming back very soon. Kazz, Mark & Muchacha @phunky.life
