We have a selection of beautiful creek side locations where you can enjoy the clear, fresh running water and a selection of other sites only a short walk from the water. Conveniently located just a short drive off the Bruce Highway our sites are not designated, you choose your own on arrival While staying, you will have the opportunity to take a walk into the past to view a private collection of Australiana, including a working stationary, engine display and vintage kitchen with wood stoves. Access to the property is via a creek crossing so it is advisable to phone ahead if there has been recent rain or rainfall is forecast. Toilets are located on the property but campers will need their own shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are permitted but must be contained at all times in a fire pits that we also have for your use Calen is a small cane growing and cattle town with a general store, pharmacy, service station, butcher and the local pub. Zarby's cafe is a short drive away if you would like to dine in for breakfast or lunch in a retro style setting. Great hidden gem 💎 Owners were so friendly and welcoming. They helped us get more wood when we were running out and brought it to our site. The creek was lovely, deeper then we thought it would be so was great to have a swim and kayak around. Our boys loved exploring the antique shed.

Camping with family
Just loved our 5 days there with family. So peaceful and lots of room. Despite that, noisy campers parked very close to us even though there was lots of room to spare. But would definitely go again.

Beautiful camping spot
This has been the best camping spot we have stayed at to date. Hosts are very accomodating and great with communication. There is so much to see and do and plenty of beautiful spots to camp. The activities available on site and the equipment you can use is great. We camped right next to the creek and it was very peaceful. Such a beautiful clear creek to swim in. Overall great spot and will be coming back for more adventures.

Great, relaxing spot, convenient not far from the highway if travelling through, as I was. Variety of camping spots to choose from. You can be right next to the creek or up on the grassy areas looking down at the water. Plenty of room and not camping on top of other campers.

Lovely site right on the river. Great hosts. River isn’t as high because of the dry but still enough to enjoy a paddle and swim. Great light show at night.
