Courtesy bus for pickup/drop off to and from Coomera Lodge Hotel.Situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland, tranquil private creek and swimming hole at the base of Mount Tamborine. Interact as much or as little as you wish with the owners and farm animals. Plenty of activities for the kids to fill your day. Creekside Camping 🏕️
Absolutely loved this spot, it was extremely peaceful by the creek with loads of space to setup. Joanne was extremely responsive via chat, amenities were very clean. The ladies who owned horses on the property were also very friendly when passing by.

Cute shaded creek area
Beautiful little oasis! Jo was very accomodating to our needs. The kids loved seeing around the farm and helping with feeding and holding the chicks. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely setting by the creek, horses watching on, and friendly owners. However be aware that you should not take any type of van into this hipcamp, I had a 90+ minute ordeal getting stuck towing a relatively small off-road hybrid, ended up damaging it. Would be good if they made access limitations clearer as it was stressful and costly

Creekside camping with horses
Beautiful camping spot at the base of the owners property. What looks like 3 sites side by side, we were lucky to have it all to ourselves, otherwise it would've been not very private with others camping right beside you. Horses paddock right behind the sites, which the kids loved, along with the swings on the trees. Bathroom was clean and showers nice and hot. Had a lovely relaxing weekend amongst the nature.

Had a nice time, but it wasn’t the nature immersion I was expecting from the photos and the campground was a little small and damp.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Cockatoo Creek. The sites are lovely, nestled next to a beautiful creek. The kids loved all the action going on around the property, and spotting creatures in the creek at night.
