Park your caravan or pitch your tent by the creek, Stockyard Creek. On our 28 acre property you have access to an extremely large dam for your water toys ( non powered) and mowed walking tracks all over the property. Campers must be self contained with their own toilet.  Kangaroos are everywhere and an abundance of birdlife have the 2nd very large dam all to themselves. The site provides complete privacy and peace and quiet except for the bird song. The Heritage township of Childers is 5 minutes away by car, Woolies, restaurants as well as a main street that is very worth while walking down. Great coffee shops and interesting old Hotels. Felt very private. Loved the fact that it's only 1 booking at a time. Host came down when we got there to say Hello and tell us about the property, than didn't see Him again. All walking tracks plus the campsite was mowed at a nice level. Definitely will return.

Beautiful bit of paradise
Dennis was fantastic too deal with nothing was too much trouble. He waited for us out the front to show us to our camp spot. Fire wood was also supplied. We had a caravan and access was easy. Such a beautiful quiet spot, we only wished we had more time too spend there. We could walk around bare foot as the grass is beautiful with plenty of walking tracks that have all been mowed. What a wonderful bit of paradise, thanks Dennis & Susan for sharing it with us. We will definitely remember this spot if we are ever travelling through again.

The area where we camped, was level for the van, all grass area kept so perfect . My two dogs had the freedom to be off the leashes. The owners very friendly just had to ask if we needed anything. We will be coming back to this piece of paradise.

Peace and quiet, just what I needed
Dennis met me at the front gate, escorted me to the camping area and then gave me the low down on the property. It's a lovely peaceful place, very well maintained, lots of small tracks meandering through the bush around the creek, and around the 2 Dam Perimeters. Dennis supplied a heap of firewood, a porta loo if required (I have my own). Both Susan and Dennis are very welcoming and friendly. My 6mth old Jack Russell had a ball, investigating everywhere and met Molly the Chocolate Lab they had a couple of good play times. Highly recommend the hosts and the property.
