Lindsey was a great host! Super friendly and helpful as we got a little lost finding the place. It was awesome waking up with cows right at our door but over all a quiet and pleasant experience.
The facilities were clean and showers were nice and hot.

A great all rounder!
Fantastic spot! Beautiful location, easy to access and great facilities. Lindsey was more than happy to accomodate a changing booking, and was easy to reach in order to do so. Would highly recommend.

Cattle camp was awesome easy to find and get to maps available at the front letter box, plenty of camp options lots of space, quiet even with other campers beautiful spot camped alongside the tranquil creek under shade of the trees. Lots of places for a walk. We didn't experience flies a few small mozzies after a bit of rain but not like other places where you get smashed. We found it very relaxing, tranquil and a great place to stay for a few days. Ammenities - showers are small put hot
shower is great, toilets available and drinking water available if running short and Lindsey kept them clean for her visitors. Our fur baby loved it also . Being locals of Mackay we will definately be back for another stay highly recommend thanks for a wonderful stay experience Lindsey, Steve and Therese.

Camped for 4 days in 13ft caravan and 6 man tent. So much room to maneuver. Got there in the dark and was still manageable. Loads of room for large campsites. Creek-front. Was a long weekend and still plenty of room and peaceful. Quite a few families with young kids. Very popular tree swing. Ablutions effective and reasonably clean, but a little aged. Nice touch of free sunscreen available for use, and a small book library. We encountered the property's pet dogs. They were mellow and friendly.. Was my 3rd visit. It's a local fav of mine. Friendly host. Rang up and ordered firewood that was delivered to our site. Not far from Middle Creek dam and Sarina township. Sarina has a dump point and supermarket, etc, so super convenient.
Platypus live in the campsite Creek. We actually saw a few late at night, after hearing their little splashes. Good directions given by host. Google maps is legendary for sending you on unwanted adventures. Keen for our next visit.
