Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

Nice quiet retreat, Close to shops and other places, Ray was a great bloke didn’t see him but he posted our jockey leg to us as we left it behind he was more than happy to do that. Thanks again Ray

We stayed with hybrid van and dog. Ray was very welcoming over the phone and gave us directions for sites to use as they had had a lot of rain and some sites were a bit boggy. Sites we chose was private but not secluded. Property has some cattle and kangaroos. We stayed 5 days. Hervey Bay only minutes away as well as dump point. Nice Cafe just outside property. Would recommend this property if wanting a place near Hervey Bay.

Close to town, peaceful, and we enjoyed retreating here out of the madness of a very packed town. Also loved we could have a fire. Company of cows and kangaroos added bonus.
