Working cattle farm and Speckle Park Stud. With great views and secluded camp-sites. We are 20 min from Toowoomba and Crows Nest, Less than 10min to Highfields and Cabarlah. Wild Honey Cafe is 5 min up the road and do great coffee and food open from 06:30am -02:30pm Tuesday - Sunday. Right next to the cafe is The Clock and Bull Brewhouse/restaurant which is due to open soon. The Historic Farmers Arms is just up the road if you want a cold drink or a great counter meal with a country atmosphere. There are some great cafes in Highfields and Monty Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit. There are Markets in Cabarlah on the last Sunday of every month and there is the Toowoomba Farmers Markets every Saturday plus lots of other local markets. If there is some fishermen/women in your group Campfire Farms is only 17min from Cooby Dam and 45min from Cressbrook Dam. Both of our dams are also stocked with Yellow Belly, Silver Perch and there is an abundance of Yabbies. We are more than happy to show people around and let you experience the farm with us. However this would need to be pre arranged with the booking. You can learn more about us on Instagram campfirefarms_qld Or on Facebook at Campfire Farms

Heaven on a hillside
Wow …. Campfire Farms …. The view at Speckle Camp will take your breath away . We always are looking for spots to camp with our dog Clancy and this one was a gem . Had our daily visits from the herd of cows …. The funniest one at night …. Have you ever had a cow breathe near your ear while you were sleeping 😄 Julia was a fantastic host and great to have a chat too … we were even lucky enough that a new addition to her herd of Speckle cows arrived while we were staying …. Not too far from the city of Toowoomba and easy to find . We will definitely be back.

Point Camp
Excellent getaway
Loved Point Camp, great view, perfect firepit and endless firewood. Kids loved the farm animals and we all had a great afternoon at the dam. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot to camp. Plenty of firewood. Good views. Listening to the birds. Quite steep on the way down so be aware if pulling a bigger van. Also, you can hear trains at night which might keep some awake. We didn't find it too bad.

Great property close to Toowoomba. Welcoming hosts and clear directions on how to get to the site. Level site with views and some firewood was there ready to go. Simply a great night under the stars, will return in the future.

Point Camp
The Point site has good views, set amongst some trees and close to the cattle yards. It was isolated from other sites and general farm traffic. It has easy access down to the main dam and day access area. However the noise of the goods trains below in the valley became a bit tiresome particularly at night. And the main road in to the camp sites is very steep. Coming out of the site if towing anything over 2 tonne will require constant revs and probably high 4wd. Good for a night or two if touring around Toowoomba region.
