Working cattle farm and Speckle Park Stud. With great views and secluded camp-sites. We are 20 min from Toowoomba and Crows Nest, Less than 10min to Highfields and Cabarlah. Wild Honey Cafe is 5 min up the road and do great coffee and food open from 06:30am -02:30pm Tuesday - Sunday. Right next to the cafe is The Clock and Bull Brewhouse/restaurant which is due to open soon. The Historic Farmers Arms is just up the road if you want a cold drink or a great counter meal with a country atmosphere. There are some great cafes in Highfields and Monty Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit. There are Markets in Cabarlah on the last Sunday of every month and there is the Toowoomba Farmers Markets every Saturday plus lots of other local markets. If there is some fishermen/women in your group Campfire Farms is only 17min from Cooby Dam and 45min from Cressbrook Dam. Both of our dams are also stocked with Yellow Belly, Silver Perch and there is an abundance of Yabbies. We are more than happy to show people around and let you experience the farm with us. Epic camping property
What a great property Campfire 🔥 farm is!! Great camping spots with Epic views, a dam stocked with Yellow belly, silver perch & jewies 🎣 Julia & Clinton were very welcoming & accomodating. If you chasing a great camping spot you’ve got to check Campfire farms out.

Speckle
Great serene camp and getaway
The Speckle campsite was very private and had magnificent views towards Toowoomba and Table Top Mt. Plenty of Coffee shops and Restaurants nearby and supermarkets quite handy , even though the actual property had a very remote and secluded atmosphere. Hosts Julia and Clinton were exceptionally pleasant and very informative etc. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp stay. Ellie/Peter Nov. 2024

Complete privacy! Good phone reception. There are even some short walks down to the dam and other areas of the property for when you are ready to stretch your legs.

Point Camp
Point camp
We stayed at point camp and it was fantastic. Great view over the valley and a short walk down the hill to the dam. The dam was clear and had kayaks for the kids to use. The site was provided with plenty of fire wood for the weekend and we got to meet all the animals on the property. Julia was very nice and understanding of our animals and the whole experience was great. 10min from town but still feels so secluded. We will definitely return

Point Camp
Loved our stay!
What a tranquil place to camp. It’s was so quiet and beautiful scenery. We had a camper trailer type setup and it was perfect to set up on the point. The animals were so friendly. We were close to Toowoomba . Cooby Dam is a beautiful spot to visit. Julia was so welcoming ,nothing is too much bother. Yes the driveways steep but entirely doable getting our camper trailer in and out . Enjoy your stay we certainly did.
