A private bush escape
Phil and Anne were wonderful hosts, meeting me and showing me to the site and also checking up on my first morning to ensure I had weathered a bad storm well. I had their entire property to myself which made my stay even more magical. Even through the stifling heat and storms I had a great time camping here. Watching the storms roll in was impressive and the river was a blessing to cool off in the heat. It was fascinating to watch the river levels rise in a couple days after the rainfall. When I arrived it was fairly low with about 800m of traverseble water for paddling. I took the dogs for a walk along the dry bank past the Great Divide campsite and again the next day to see how far the water rose. The amenities are well set up, there were plenty of toilets at every site and I had a large, shaded and grassy expanse to roam with the dogs. I would love to come back again in cooler weather.

Weekend away with the kids
Hosts were lovely and very helpful. They gave us a tractor tube for the kids to use while swimming. Great spot for kids. We spent most of the weekend swimming and playing around on the river. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Phil and Anne are lovely hosts. The campground is flat, sites are big and set among beautiful big trees but still room to get the sun on to solar panels. This was our second visit.
