The Great Divide
Very well kept grassy campgrounds, with a river good for swimming. Host was very nice and told us a bit of local history. Council bins out the front was handy. Will be back!

The Great Divide
Family getaway
Anne was great to communicate with and helped us find the exact spot that suited us. This is a great place to stay with children. The water was clean and not overly deep so the smaller children enjoyed the shallow water whilst we adults enjoyed the abundant shade. The older children never stopped paddling the river in the kayaks or playing on the tube in the water. Our camping area was a great size for 2 families to spread out and the grass was mowed short which was great for the visibility of snakes. The portaloo was clean and close. There is a recycling drum near the camp, with proceeds helping restock the river with native fish. There is also skip bins out on the bitumen for other rubbish. The limited mobile service was another great thing about Bushland Hideaway, it made for a relaxing holiday. We are already planning for our return trip

Cocky's Rest
Hidden oasis
Amazing spot. Hidden in the bushland on the river. David the caretaker gave us a run down of the history of the place and showed us some points of interest on the way to camp. Basic amenities and fire pits. Will stay again

Stones Corner
Another wonderfully prepared site at Bushland Hideaway. Plenty of space, shade, fire pits, clean portaloos/longdrops. Anne made contact to ensure our stay was very smooth and easy.

A lovely intimate camp with wonderful shade, waterfront views, grassed flat areas for setting up camp and a clean port-a-loo.

Stones Corner
What a tranquil getaway!
We loved Stones Corner and definitely will be back. Phil and Anne were amazing hosts and the communication was brilliant. The toilets were the cleanest (and best smelling) we’ve experienced. There is heaps of room, abundant bird life and plenty to explore in Texas and Inglewood. The absolute highlight was spotting the resident platypus!
