Our property backs onto the National Park of Magnetic island. Wallabies roam through the yard daily and sometimes you will see a koala strolling past. There is a fire pit and a shared outdoor bathroom which is a highlight on the property. Easy walk down to the beach or up to the forts walks. Water and power is available. The single site is situated up the back of the property backing onto magnetic island national park. Slightly elevated, peaceful block, easy walk to either Horseshoe bay beach or up to the Forts Walks. Shared featured outdoor bathroom with a washing machine and toilet.

Genuine Host & A Great Camp!
Matt is a super nice guy and has a beautiful home. The weather was horrendous but Matt helped us to stay dry and his kindness is unmeasured. Wonderful outdoor shower, great location and a fire (with wood) was provided. We will definitely return and appreciate everything that Matt did for us. Cheers Matt, see you soon!

Beautiful
Matthew and Bex were incredible hosts from the start. So welcoming and friendly. The space was beautiful backing on to national park land and had wallabies and birds rustling around all the time. The facilities were incredible, the best outdoor shower space and we even had a lovely fire pit made up for us every night. Matt allowed us to use his powered Eskey when our fridge broke . His kindness was next level. Would recommend his homestay to anyone. Always up for a chat and keen to tell us about the best places to snorkel and visit. A lovely warm and tranquil place to stay on magnetic island.

Very peaceful corner of Magnetic Island. Were able to pitch our tent right next to the National Park. Matt was very welcoming and even set the fire pit up for us. Loved his whole set up. Thanks for having us!

Too easy, mate!
It was our first experience with hipcamp for my friend and I and we couldn't have asked for a better host than Matt. He was so welcoming and kind, that we felt right at home. He gave us heaps advices that helped us make the most out of Magnetic Island. And don't get me started about the little extras that Matt provided: an express drop off for a hike, tools lent and a fire for a nice and warm conversation on our last night. We would have gladly spent more nights there, but we couldn't change our ferry. We met as strangers, but left as mates.
