Burrum Shores Campgrounds offers well maintained grassy sites with direct access to the beach. Access to the camp sites is via a dirt track. Accessible for 2wd vehicles with decent ground clearance and 4wd vehicles. We now have our toilets and showers completed and open. We can accept bookings from caravans, motorhomes, campers, camper trailers, tents, roof top tents and swags on select sites. Please refer to the individual site listings to ensure your camping setup is compatible with your site. Grey water must be captured in a grey water tank or a bucket and can be emptied onsite as advised by caretakers. ____________________________________________________________________________ Campfires are welcome in a raised fire pit, either bring your own or use one of our communal campfire areas. Firewood and kindling is available for purchase on arrival. You will have access to our town water drinking taps to fill your water tanks and we also have a dump point on the property. All sites are pet friendly. We ask that you keep your dogs on leash all of the time. Our only rules are that you respect the property and other guests and no generators. We look forward to welcoming you to our special spot.

Sunrise Site 1
Beach paradise on Hervey Bay
Great location right on the water. We were on Sunrise 1 which was one of the best spots, I not 1 back from the beach and views over the pond. Great sunsets and awesome location. Did some brief kiteboarding out the front which was great. The kids loved the dirt pump track. A short drive down to Hervey Bay for whale watching cruises, markets and food. Did have a small brown snake come under our van so keep things tidy and be aware.

We loved our time at Burrum Shores. Michael was welcoming, the amenities were great and proximity to the beach was fantastic. We felt safe to let our kids explore, and the camp was just a short distance into town for anything additional we needed. We will be back.

Beach Front Site 3
The views were amazing. Site is right near the beach. Amenities clean and tidy. Camp kitchen was great for group or individual gatherings. Maybe some signage warning campers of snakes as we had on slither through our camp.

Beach Front Site 1
Close to town (Burrum Heads) but still feels like you are a million miles away. Three available smokers that can be used by all campers. New caretaker Gary is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Beachsite one is amazing as you have the wetlands and the beach on each side of you.

We had a wonderful time at Burrum Shores. Fantastic location. Clean facilities and very friendly and helpful caretaker. Wonderful place for dogs. Lots of happy campers when we were there.

Sunrise 3
Sunrise 3 is in a great position near the amenities and the beach. The amenities are great as well. We will stay there again.
