PLEASE NOTE:- There are 3 camp areas at Buddai Camp, 2 of them have 2 available campsites on them. Gumtree and Creekbend. Old Stump only has 1 site, but suitable for large groups. ~ Gumtree - site 1 and site 2. ~ Creekbend - site 1 and site 2. ~ Old Stump - site 1. Gumtree has a little flat area on top of creek bank and the rest is more uneven and sloped ground. More suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans. Creekbend is all flat and more suitable for bigger vehicles. Old Stump is slighlty sloped and uneven but has some flat areas. Away from the other 2 camp area but suitable for large groups. Quiet camp area on Creek bank. A short walk down the bank to shallow to mid depth running water, perfect to sit and chill out in, or watch the kids splash around. Plenty of shade down by the creek. There are 2 maintained grass paddock camp areas next to each other which can easily accommodate 2 or so camp sites each with still plenty of space between you and your neighbours. Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance. All campers must be fully self sufficient. NO TOILETS NO ELECTRICITY NO WATER Camp fires permitted but subject to local fire bans/restrictions. BYO firewood. Firewood also available for purchase from neighbours just up the road. This is a working farm, so we are not always hanging out at the house, and often out in the paddock, So as a courtesy can you please give an estimated arrival time so we can meet you at the house and then take you down and show you the campsite.

Gumtree Camp
The grass was so well maintained I went barefoot most of the time. The creek is sketchy to access but you can do it if you take your time and be sure footed and able. Probably only do it in dry conditions too as both banks are quite steep/muddy/slippery. Sit in a camp chair in the creek with a beer and the water flowing around your legs, you won’t regret it. As a solo female camper I felt very safe. There is a quiet road behind the paddocks ages away and this contributes to some very small light pollution with some headlights off in the distance at night, but nothing compared to my ONLY neighbouring campers at the next site 150m away, shining their fully sick, military-spec torch directly into my rooftop tent at around 8pm a good couple of times. Spotlighting is fun, but you got there during the day, you saw me all set up, you knew I was there. Maybe next time, don’t shine your torch in people’s camps. You upset my dog you ferals. This in no way detracts from the beauty and tranquility of the place and the warm hospitality of the hosts. Will be back. Thanks guys :)

Creek Bend
Absolutely beautiful spot at Creek Bend. Manicured camping area with a stunning flowing creek. Unfortunately our stay was cut very short due to the torrential downpour that hit the area. We will definitely return to this magical spot and enjoy the surroundings on offer hopefully in sunshine next time.

Old Stump
Old Stump site
We were met by John upon arrival who greeted us and gave us the rundown. Site was a beautiful big grassy area with heaps of room. There was a couple of ways down to the creek, both were quite steep however easy enough to negotiate. Lots of areas to explore in the creek and our 2 dogs had an absolute ball running and swimming. Great views over the mountains. Highly recommended a stay here. We’ll be back.
