Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail is an incorporated association aiming to facilitate a proposed development of the rail corridor from Taragoola (near Gladstone, Central Queensland), through the Boyne Valley, on to Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera and south through Gayndah. The corridor is an inland link between Gladstone and Gayndah, which has great potential to attract tourists in numbers. In time, our website will showcase all the attractions along the trail.

Rail Trail Tunnels Golembil
Fantastic rail trail camp
Absolutely great spot for rail trail enthusiasts, flat spots, amazing scenery, there was some burning off occuring which made it a bit smokey, we rode from here to and thru the rail tunnels.

Large clean site between two houses had the space to ourselves added bonus is the public amenities across the road with hot showers available for a small fee

I liked the easy access to the Rail Trail and other horse riding suitable trails, and I loved that there were toilet and shower facilities close by. The nearby cafe was a definite plus too.

Mt Debateable
Mt Debateable Camp on the RailTrail
New campsite at the start gate of the rail trail. Large level mowed sites suitable for large rigs and tents. Lots of tree planting. Large communal firepit and firewood. No amenities No bins Leave nothing behind, self contained required. Close to McConnell lookout perfect for sunrise or sunset. Highly recommend

We had a beautiful stay, the camping area is extremely well kept considering it is up kept by volunteers. Thanks to the the local community for a great camping spot.

Rail Trail Tunnels Golembil
This campsite is awesome, heaps of room and an amazing backdrop with a view of the range. We had a heap of rain the night we stayed here and there wasn't any puddles, bogging or flooding of the campsites which was great. Also a great spot to explore the rail trail and tunnels. Highly recommend.
