Blackiron Camp Ground
We didn’t get a chance to stay due to flooding In the area but contact was made as soon as possible letting us know which I really appreciate. We were offered great service and I had a very friendly phone call letting us know the situation and were offered a credit or a refund which ever we preferred. With this alone this place gets our vote and we look forward to being able to see it one day soon with our credit.

Well maintained and great location. River was torn through from recent floodings but would love to visit again in better conditions. Loved the free mangoes provided by the owners from the tree on the property.

Amazing creek side camping
Amazingly beautiful property, fantastic for a family adventure, they have an epic stream you can swim in, fish and explore, campsites are awesome with the ability to camp on the creek being a major draw for us to want to come back for more adventures

Excellent stay in peace and quiet
We loved this campsite. It was quite, grassy and the river was good for swimming. We stayed here while we went on a Whitsundays tour. We felt very safe leaving our van there for the day. The caretakers even moved our solar panels to face the sun during the day. The sunsets and sunrises are incredible.

Blackiron Camp Ground
We had a great time at Blackiron:)! The campsite is very spacious and the grass is well maintained. We spent most of our day at the fishing spot over the road from the campsite, which is only a short walking distance. There are a lot of shady areas and a sand bar, perfect for fun and relaxing.

Creekside Camping
Welcoming friendly hosts on arrival. Heaps of camping spot options. Loved being able to camp alongside the creek (4x4 required). Had the whole place to ourselves which gave us extra serenity. The sound of running water and all the wildlife was lovely. Stoked that we could make a fire and bring our fur baby. Beautiful sunset/sunrise views, was in my element. Will be back!
