Ben Lomond Station is an 1800 acre working cattle station 25 minutes south of Bowen and 35 minutes north of Airlie Beach on the Whitsundays. We border onto Eden Lassie Creek which has tidal ocean access for saltwater fishing and there is an abundance of estuary fishing and crab spots available. We are a nature based camping area. Cleared shady camping spots are available for fully self contained campers as there are currently no facilities available so you must have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Access to the camping area is for 4WD only with caravans off road and high clearance. Firewood is available for a small fee or you can collect any fallen timber yourself. There is a ban on cutting down any standing timber even it is dead. There is plenty of room to run for the kids and dogs though we do ask that your pet not annoy our cattle or other campers. Ben Lomond station has an abundance of flora and fauna such as burdekin plum trees, mango trees, wallabies, kangaroos and bird and fish species.

Site 6 Cattle camp
Ben Lomond Station was a great stay. We had access to the tidal creek for fishing and crabbing. Colleen was a great with the directions and flexibility of sites. Camps are well spaced out.

Nature a l'état pur!
Camping pour ceux qui aiment la nature. Pas d'électricité, pas d'eau , ni douche ou toilettes. Mais, plein de vaches, chevaux, kangourous et wallabis ! Et il faut un 4X4, l'accès est difficile.

Site 3 Teatree Camp
Loved the place, massive campsites couldn't even see the Neighbours. Colleen was great couldn't do enough to help me very welcoming (plus she knows all the good fishing spots). Fire pit at each campsite and the creek is only a 2-minute walk. Pets are welcome but you do have to share with some cows, but they stay away. 5 STARS would defiantly stay again.

Very nice place to stay at very nice and roomy camp area hosts are very nice and happy helpful and willing to help out your needs and will be going back and my family for another great weekend

Spacious, private shaded camp with easy access to fishing/crabbing locations. The booking process was simple and the directions to the property and campsite clear and easy to follow. Both hosts were extremely friendly and offered fantastic advice on where to try for some mud crabs and fish. Only stayed one night as I was passing through but will definitely return. Got two very good mud crabs that were excellent for breakfast. Thank you for a fantastic camp spot.
