Semi-rural property set on 22 acres. We offer a camping ground it is not a caravan park. Limited numbers, no crowding. Oak Valley is only 20 minutes from Townsville CBD and 10 minutes to the nearest major shopping centre. The 5 campsites are nestled along a shady tree-lined creek looking out over native flora and fauna. Relax in the afternoon with a beverage as the sun rays move across the mountain tops. Sit by a warm fire in complete darkness with the sky lit up by stars. During the day explore the creek line and Billabongs. The property is surrounded by wildlife, therefor you will see large areas of land that are unspoilt with long native grasses . Also some friendly farm animals. Suitable for RVs camper trailers and tents. Groups are welcome. There is plenty of room for push bike riding and outdoor games. Property is home to bush turkeys, kangaroos, wallabies possums reptiles and many bird species and fish life. Dog friendly. Flushing toilet available. Plenty of firewood to gather your own, bring a saw as large logs.

We stayed at site 9 with a 23 foot van 3 4wds and had plenty of room. The creek was great for our 4 border collies to cool off. Loved the 2 night camp Sharon was a great host. Thanks

Wholesome, idyllic & tasty!
Idyllic farmstay just outside of townsville. The farm animals are so cute & we even got to taste some of their homemade honey. Made a campfire at night & had dinner under the nightsky full of stars. Wholesome!

Secluded and beautiful
I loved this secluded spot I could listen to music and dance with no one watching. Sharon was a delight to chat to on arrival.

Quiet & comfortable
We booked last minute; Stephen and Sharon were lovely and super quick to respond to all queries. Lovely site, very peaceful & tucked away. We wished we had the time to stay longer than just the one night (we had Site 8). Portaloo was clean & fresh & well positioned for our site. Lots of wallabies which was lovely. Fire pit was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

We’ll be back!
Site 9 is a great spot. It’s spacious, relatively flat and shaded from the sun most of the day. Probably the best access to the creek of all the sites. Close (but not too close!) to the toilet and water tank. Wildlife was great—we were pleasantly accompanied by possums, wallabies, parrots, kookaburras and honeyeaters the whole time we were there. Who would have thought such a great camping spot exists just 20 mins from town! Overall we had a great stay, and weI’ll definitely be back again.
