Welcome to the beautiful Bonogin Valley at the base of Mount Bally. Mount Bally Cabin is heavily treed with the lux cabin up high in the tree tops. Surrounded by serene creeks, majestic mountains and an abundance of wildlife. It's a true escape from the hustle and bustle yet only 15 minutes from the big smoke of the gold coast. Mount Bally Cabin is a luxurious tiny cabin in bushland facing Mount Bally. You can call it camping, but really this is glamping on another level. It is situated up high in the trees capturing the valley breezes and views, but most importantly the wild life and peace and quiet. Inside the cabin you will find everything you need. A queen size bed kitchen and dining area, complete with fully equipped kitchen. There is a picnic basket for adventures. Two sets of French doors open to a covered verandah area with cafe seating and then a open area with gas barbeque. Gas is provided. The outdoor area overlooks a frog pond and native garden. The cabin is airconditioned for those hot summer days and there are two guitars to have fun cranking out a tune. Bathroom Towels are provided. There is limited phone reception, which can give you time to unwind with no disturbances. There is intentionally no TV, allowing you to read or relax with no devices, however there is WiFi available if thats what you need. The cabin is perfect for a romantic get away, serious hiking, bush walking, bird watching, mountain biking or and artists retreat. The entrance to the national park is at the back of the cabin, with fantastic walks and water holes along the creek. Mount bally summit hike is at an elevation of 380 meters with extensive views to Byron Bay to Stradbroke island. There is covered parking for 1 car. If you don't feel like cooking there is a great little cafe only 1 minutes drive, that's open for breakfast or lunch. All you need to bring with you is your groceries, toiletries, a towel for swimming in the creek, some good walking shoes and maybe a great book to read. The cabin is not suitable for children or pets. As night falls, gather around your fire pit and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the valley. Mount Bally cabin, is a luxurious tiny cabin in bushland at the base of mount Bally and the edge of the national park. You can call it camping but really this is Glamping on another level! It is situated up high in the trees capturing the valley breezes and views, but most importantly the wildlifeand peace and quiet. inside the cabin you will find everything you need. A queen size bed (linen is supplied and fitted). A large reading chair and lounge area. There is a fully equipted kitchen and dining area, complete with fridge and freezer, convection microwave, induction cooktop, espresso coffee machine, tea and coffee making, toaster and kettle. There is a picnic basket for adventures. Two sets of French doors open to a covered verandah area with cafe style seating and then an open area with gas BBQ, gas is provided. The outdoor area overlooks a frog pond and native garden. The cabin is airconditioned for those hot summer days, and there are two Guitars to have fun cranking out a tune or just learning. The toilet, shower and laundry, are down stairs, complete with washing machine and dryer. Bathroom towels are provided. There is limited phone reception and intentionally no television, allowing you to read or relax with no devices if you choose to. There is WiFi available if that's what you need. The cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, serious hiking, bushwalking, birdwatching, mountain biking or artists retreat. If you dont feel like cooking there is a great little cafe just down the road. This is open for Breakfast and lunch.

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Perfect little getaway! Literally has thought of everything from the sensor lights to the speaker and all the little things you might need! Went for a beautiful hike in the morning and enjoyed the peace and quiet among the trees. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets through the trees. And Jo was so lovely!

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Peaceful get away.

I could have sat by the fire for hours watching all the birds stop by to drink from the pond. In fact, I did spend hours doing doing that! Beautiful clean cabin, all the necessary amenities, clear instructions and close to national parks and walks. Jo was a lovely host.

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Such a lovely tranquil cabin. The cabin was beautifully decorated inside and had a cottage charm outside with the frog pond and array of birds and wildlife. Had everything we needed and enjoyed the small walk to the creek from the cabin. I loved that there was a little cafe and entrance to the Mount bally scenic walk a small drive away too! 🌿 🥑 The host was so lovely and welcoming, Thanks again for your service, we will definitely be back 😊

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Fantastic weekend away!

I went with my husband and we loved the cabin! It had everything we needed and more! It is located up in a hill in the middle of tall trees! It was just what we needed - disconnecting from the city! The sounds of the wind, the animals, the trees - it was simply perfect! We did the summit trail which is a 5 min walk from Jo’s cabin! At the top of the Mt there was a stunning view! Jo was very responsive and friendly! Before our arrival she suggested some activities and showed us the cabin! We also ordered some date scones and they were delicious! We highly recommend this place to anyone!

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Perfect nature escape

Everything was immaculate! Jo has thought of everything and was always so quick to respond with any questions or helpful hints. Bird life and fireflies were an added bonus. Great close creek and bush walks. Warm and comfortable in the middle of winter. Easy to get to but felt like an escape a million miles away. Highly recommend and wish I could have stayed longer!

Mount Bally Lux Cabin

Blissful Escape

We needed a quiet, peaceful weekend away in nature and that’s exactly what we got. The Mount Bally Cabin felt like a cozy tree house with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Jo & Tony have thought of every little detail, from excellent coffee to all the necessary kitchen implements and beautiful fresh flowers from the surrounding gardens. We can’t wait to go back!
