Romantic
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is romantic.
The property is in Wentworth North, near Morin -Heights . 438-324-8144. Amazing time to be up north!! If you need to unplug this is a good place. Staying here gives you access to the back forest which is very unique Laurentian old growth forest. . There are streams, swamps, lake country, and you are in the wild but still only be 15 minutes from local villages like St Sauveur. I am practising permaculture and have a food forest, medicinal gardens, chickens and I forage for wild edibles. If you want to learn about plant medicine, cold climate polyculture, sylvopasture and syntropic gardening techniques these are being EXPERIMENTED with here at the homestead, The focus and goal here is to act as a plant nursery and protector of biodiversity and forest integrity. There are lakes in the area but not all are accessible 2 people ideal!....Bring your foamy, camp cots, camping mattress and own bedding, the floor of the cabin is insulated and clean, I'm going for the zen feeling with minimal furniture, a great place to dance, do yoga and bodywork, sound therapy ect... There is one tent sites to choose from near cabin. Pllease respect the peace of the forest Their is power in the cabin from the main house but it is still basically camping. The more independant yo are the better. Toaster oven and hot plate, kettle provided but no running water. Currently setting up outdoor camp shower. Located 15 minutes to local restaurants and grocery stores in Morin Heights and St Sauveur Note; this is a work in progress, no running water in cabin, compost toilet is being set up. There are two fire pits 1 Space for small Rv camping vehicles/trailersPiranga hut is a simple cabin,. Double bed and room on the floor by the fire if you bring camping mats. The cabin is the portal for the magical old growth forest that is yours to explore when you stay here. Recently i have seen the tracks of Moose Coyote Fisher Weasel and Beaver!bring your own sleeping bags ect. The snow is here so bring snowshoes and go wil!. Cabin is fairly close to main house and a few minutes walk from parking The forest is very silent now, easy to see far and wide, no wifi!. Come and gather your thoughts and hide in the woods, unplug and recharge. Cold water plunges in the lake and stream, plants and fungi abound. ideal for 2 people two extra can set up a tent in the summer. Close to the village of Morin Heights and St Sauveur

Cozy getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway in the hut! Although the temperatures dropped quite low outside, the hut kept us nice and cozy. We were granted some warm visits and cuddles from the host’s cat as well. Not too far from the city, it was a perfect location to disconnect and recharge. The space was super well kept, with books and cassettes to indulge in.

I would highly recommend staying here. I loved this cabin. Regan is a wonderful host and lovely person. The surrounding forest is so beautiful and peaceful. I particularly appreciated listening to the selection of cassette tapes in the cabin while sitting by a wood stove fire. Super cozy.

I loved this cabin, host Regan is a super nice person. The cabin is super relaxing. You can even bring in a thick yoga mat and sleep here. A morning walk in the forest is really nice. Owner's cat sometime might want to come in, staying in the cabin with the cat by the fire is the coziest thing I could ever experienced.
