11 acres a top a mountain with amazing views of the mountains and a large pond. Amazing sunrise and sunset as well as stargazing. 1/3 of the property is wooded. Plenty of cleared area for campers or tents. Small frog pond on property. No hookups - totally dry camping. But we do have a porta potty on site. Well water is available if owners are on site. Fire pit area and a child's swing in our tree. Star Pond access up the road and a quick hike down the hill with great fishing. Also, it's a short drive to state game lands and twin ponds for more fishing and hiking. Great fly fishing very close by.Upon a mountain top- this is a nature lover's dream. More stars than you can imagine- great mountain views (amazing sunrise and sunset!) so much nature to enjoy. Fly fishing all over in every direction. Fire pit area and plenty of space for 5 or so campers and or tents. Half open field half forest. Right up against hundreds of acres if game lands. Pond (lake) access up the road and a few minute hike down though the woods. With wonderful, quiet fishing. (Please respect the peace of the pond) further into game lands are two more ponds for even more, great fishing. Or hunting when in season. Winter hunting camping is permitted! Please message us for more details. Closest town (with grocery store, gas, ice, bait, fishing store and bars/resturaunts) is 12 minutes north (deposit) or 15 minutes east Hancock.) Cows on property next door (acres away.) We are typically on site during warmer months. We will respect your privacy (however we always welcome campers to join us for any festivities!) I will let you know upon booking if we or any of our guests plan to be onsite. Area is mostly level but there are a few small divots and holes to be aware of. Be prepared to need leveling. Completely dry camping- please bring your own water and empty your tanks OFF site. No power- but gets great solar light on the mountain if you have panels. Please check weather, it does get cold at night throughout most of the year. Please note that this is a shared campsite and you may be sharing the open field with owners or other campers. Enjoy!

50 ft travel trailer · Group trip
We had an amazing stay! There was plenty of space and privacy. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had incredible views of the sunset and later stars. The camp is easy to get to even with a large trailer. If you are coming/going from Route 17 you have turn right and head east to turn around in Hancock. We would definitely recommend staying here to anybody!

Not private, too small to share
20 ft campervan · With pets
If your someone wanting total privacy, this is not the spot. The owner lists an open field however even with heads up she would be there with kids and dogs, her trailer is parked directly in the center leaving limited accommodating for privacy. Also, the road is literally right there. We feel the listing wasn’t totally honest with how much open field it is. She does mention she is often there but should indicate that PRIOR to booking for those who WANT total privacy!! Also, with a 20 ft. Sprinter van the tires did spin out while on premises. Needless to say we did NOT stay.
