Long Acre Farm is a perfect spot for a quick getaway in a quiet setting. This is a great place to relax after a day out at Hershey(25 minutes) or the many other local attractions! Although we are rural, we are located close to Hershey, Annville LVC, Renn Faire, Hollywood Casino, Lebanon Expo Center, and Farm Show Complex. You will be steps away from horse pastures and can visit with them as you like.
You will stay in a renovated living space in our late 1700s bank barn. Everything you need is here in the rental! There's a full eat-in kitchen, living room with a smart TV and wifi, desk space, bathroom with shower/tub, and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a very comfy queen bed, and the other bedroom has a full bed, twin bed, and twin trundle. You have a balcony all to yourself overlooking the farm. The rental is located next to our farm and feed shop in the barn so if you need any boots, hats, or feed while you're staying with us, please stop over!
The main entrance to the rental is located at the top side of the bank barn at our shop entrance. The balcony is in the rear and you can go in and out through there too. From the barn, there is a gravel path to our rear stables. You may walk this trail at any time to see what's going on at the farm and to visit with the horses.
The horses that are boarded at our farm are in training. They are either here to learn to be ridden, ride trails, or they have a bad habit that they are working on correcting. We ask that you don't reach in and try to pet them due to these issues. You may walk on the trail from the barn to the rear stables and watch the horses. We also have two corgis and two labs that work on the farm. They are off-leash throughout the property. They are all extremely safe and friendly and will most likely run up and say "hello." We accept a maximum of two dogs under 30 lbs to stay with you. If you have dogs travelling with you, please keep them on leash and be aware that our dogs might interact with your dogs. We have several barn cats too that you may see!Long Acre Farm is a perfect spot for a quick getaway in a quiet setting.
