Laureleye Farms is a 70 acre horse farm in SE PA with access to great hiking trails as well as the Brandywine River for floating, dipping or just sitting. Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, Delaware Children's museum and other Chester County attractions are all within 20-30 minutes. We welcome well behaved pets on leashes.Sitting above the Buck Run Creek this historic building was used as a school, chapel and library in the later 1800's. It has a wood stove, but no electricity or running water. Beautiful high vaulted ceilings. There is a table and chairs and plenty of room for camp pads or mattress on the floor. Very quiet and peaceful. Great option for those that want to camp, but would like a roof overhead.

Chapel in the woods
Susannah was a lovely host. Very communicative, and offered to let us interact with her animals! The chapel itself was absolutely wonderful, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy outdoorsy evening!

Charming Chapel
The chapel was clean and cozy. I'd never worked woodstove before, and I was worried, but the host graciously gave me a quick tutorial whenI got there. It heats the place perfectly. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

I had a beautiful time at the Chapel in The Woods. The Chapel itself was very clean and comfy. The wood stove came in handy for cooking and heat. Thanks Susannah, for a great time in the country.

Chapel in the woods
We had a lovely time camping in the chapel. With the exception of an occasional vehicle passing by on the lane it was private and quiet. We enjoyed the warmth of the woodstove and cooked our breakfast on it.

It was a great getaway! Nice land, quiet, good hikes, and Susannah was a great host. The Chapel itself was great. Plenty of candles provided and firewood for the woodstove.
