This is your spot. Your own private campground on 5 acres of forest canopy that we unofficially call "Fern Gully", this site is literally adjacent to scenic Clear Creek State Park (1211 acres) and pristine "old-growth" Clear Creek State Forest (16229 acres). Accessible by RVs of any size. Tent campers welcome! Don't have an RV?? Check out RVshare.com to discover loads of options! A driveway leads to a large, flat landing where RVs can set up. Electric (50 and 20 amp) + pressurized water hook-up at sites. UPDATE: we recently added a second site for "friends/family"(full hook-ups) at the other end of the parking pad for those wishing to camp with guests. Fire pit on location. Firewood can be found on the property, but always smart to bring some. The road in can be rough, just go slow. We are working with the state to fix it. Do it your way! Come relax and unwind or get out and get active. Enjoy the serenity and solitude that nature provides at this quiet hideaway for peace and tranquility. POINTS of INTEREST: -Clear Creek State Park swimming area is minutes away, right down the road! -Only a few miles to Clarion River (2019 River of the Year) launch access! You can bring your boat and do some fishing, or rent canoes/kayaks/tubes and float away the day. -25+ miles of hiking trails within walking distance from camp. -Beartown Rocks is within hiking distance or a short drive. -The Seneca Point Overlook/Firetower is a must-see -For those looking for a leisure walk or cyclists, Rails-to-Trails paved trail is a unique experience, stop and see our friends at Lost In The Wilds brewery for a cold refreshment. -10 miles to North Country Trailhead. -10 miles to Cook Forest State Park (8500 acres), known as a National Natural Landmark for some of America's finest virgin white pine and hemlock timber stands. Cook Forest State Park was rated one of America's top 50 state parks by National Geographic Traveler magazine and was chosen by the Pennsylvania DCNR and its Bureau of Parks as one of "25 Must-See Pennsylvania State Parks". -10 miles to Allegheny National Forest. State Game Lands nearby. -Farmer's Inn restaurant has that rustic country flair, great food and a "zoo" that all ages can appreciate. -A local meat market, drive-in movie theatre and RV sales/service a short drive on Route 36 toward Brookville. *Check Out the following websites for some great, detailed information on the surrounding area: **AIRBNB - check out my "Guidebook" there and booking fees are LESS $$!!!** DCNR PAWILDS VISITPAGO

We love staying at the clear creek property. Very private but still close to the clarion river, clear creek/cooks forest area. The property is level and gravel for your trailer or motorhome to sit., the water is good tasting with lots of pressure and you have electric hookups. The woods are beautiful surroundings the campsites, great for hiking. Very nice property. Private.

I didn’t get pictures because, well, it’s camping! The spot was easy to find but far enough away that you had so much privacy. It’s a beautiful wooded area and a definite place to camp in the fall. I have 2 kids that would be hard to go in the summer as they require activities at their age but they both absolutely loved this place and we will be returning. If we do a trip to go tubing on the river, this will be our spot. The road back was a bit rough but only a portion. Lots of room for relaxation and for dogs to wear themselves out!

Still a favorite

Second time we have stayed here in 2024. We will be repeat visitors. The fire pit was updated since we last visited, and there were more picnic tables. It’s still a beautiful piece of land, no issue with the water or electric hookups. Josh is an excellent host and easy to communicate with.

Another great trip to Josh’s place! If you have doggos that like to sniff and run, this is the place! But Make sure you check your furry friends for ticks, we pulled a few off of our dogs every night. My husband used the Public land for hunting and I enjoyed the beautiful colors of the trees. We love this place and will hopefully be back next year for year 3.

Enchanted Forest
5 m travel trailer ·
It felt like being in a peaceful enchanted forest. It was really beautiful and relaxing. We had everything we needed at this site and we relaxed in peace the whole weekend. It was nice that the site was so tucked away and private, but also surrounded by a cute little forest-y community, so we felt pretty safe. Right up the street is a super cute camp store (for the campground across the way) that was very welcoming and had anything you could need, as well as a cleanout station we were able to use. P.S. I highly recommend that you not arrive after dark. We got thoroughly lost and confused because of this 😂 Our GPS did not take us directly to the site (it was off by quite a long shot,) we had no service, and you really can’t see a thing out there in the dark. We likely would have been far less confused if it was still light out though. Some nice neighbors saw us struggling and came out and helped direct us.
