Beautiful brook views and a historic barn surround this 13x13’ circular, platformed tent. An outhouse is proximal, along with a fire pit for all the hot dogs and s’mores (or just gazing). Bedding can be provided at an extra fee, along with firewood and other amenities such as kayak rentals, farm-fresh eggs and produce. Enjoy walking trails through the hickory grove and sugar bush, and creek fishing in just moments. This is a great spot for kids, with a “mini playground” feet from the campsite (swings, climbing gym, sandbox & playhouse), as well as a swimming pond less that a quarter mile up the road. Barclay Mountain is just a 15-minute drive south, for history and adventure-lovers alike, and the Susquehanna River offers many learning opportunities both in the water and along her banks. Towanda has a sweet downtown with restaurants and small shops for all your commerce needs. In the heart of the Endless Mountains this glamping site offers the full camping experience with many amenities. Take a short walk to a nearby creek swimming hole in one direction, or a manicured and treated pond in the other. Hiking trails and historic buildings abound, on site and throughout the area. Mini playground right by the campsite for any kiddos! Single tatami provided, along with stocked outhouse, fire pit and cook area. Extra bedding, fire wood, and other perks available for a fee.

Maggie was polite and informative. Great little spot to get away or if you’re just starting your adventures into the wild or solo camping. The tent is big enough for a cot and 3 people. I went solo so I had plenty of room plus my gear. The outhouse and the pile of wood is a plus!

Peaceful and Perfect
Maggie’s land is a wonderful little oasis. In a more rural area, I hardly heard any vehicles pass on the road in the night or early morning, only a faint train whistle off in the distance and the sound of birds chirping, some squirrels chittering, and leaves falling onto the canvas tent. The tent itself was clean, dry and bug free! I would definitely recommend bringing a camping sleep mat or two and your own blankets and pillows. I came prepared with these items and had a cozy and warm night albeit frost on the ground in the morning. There is a clean and good smelling (thanks lime!) outhouse and a fire pit. Maggie’s Land is located only about 50 minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park so it is perfect after a day of hiking there and the surrounding area. The check in process was smooth and I felt welcomed onto the land. Thank you for a lovely night!
