Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, Aurora Healing Gardens-psilocybin experience (advanced reservation required), a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall.

Views were beautiful and easy spot right off the road. Bathroom water was turned off because of the freeze but she let us know and the spot was beautiful waking up in the morning!
We arrived at campsite #4 after dark. The directions, that were given to us, were very clear. The campsite numbers were lit and easy to read in the dark. Shane was very accommodating to our last minute second vehicle. The sites are very private. A neat site within the orchard.
I think we were the only campers there that weekend. There was supposed to be a storm, but it was reduced to regular showers at night. The orchard was cute and fun to camp in! The bathrooms are so clean, and even though we didn't use the outside shower, it was nice to know it was there if we needed it. The hosts keep the orchard nice and tidy.
It was so wild to hear and see wildlife (no pun intended)! The tiny cute field mouse was adorable and funny, but hearing the coyotes at night was a first for me! Just watch your little pets at night, which is basic wherever you camp!
Would recommend and will come back here. We thoroughly enjoyed it!!
This was our first night of camping booked through Hipcamp and only our second in our new Hiatus camper so we waited until we had another 10 days camping under our belt before writing the review. It was raining pretty steady on our visit which makes for a less fun experience that of course has nothing to do with the hosts or campsite! The location under the trees was lovely with everything clearly marked. The bathroom facilities needed some TLC with no lights working and 1 of 2 of the toilet rooms with no lock or tap. The outdoor shower was also not working. We did enjoy the privacy surrounded by fruit and nut trees!
Easy to find. I arrived at night and it was seamless to find my camp spot and settle back in. Beautiful orchard! Great serene spot not too far off the 5, so if you need to get back on the road quickly the next day it is a great location.
