Meadow Campsite
Steven and Megan were such generous hosts. They provided frequent service to the facilities, made sure to answer all questions, and went above and beyond while we were there. All this is true while also providing distance for our group to be present with each other.

Nice folks!
Pretty good! It’s definitely early on in the project but I’m excited to see what it’ll look like a year or two from now. I felt well taken care of and safe. Go expecting pretty minimal amenities (no flush toilet, no marked sites, no wifi obviously, with an outdoor gravity-fed shower/stream to bathe in). They filled up my water bottles and let me get my firewood free from their forest, which was good. I’m sure if I needed some other small things they would’ve lended a hand too.

Overpriced/crowded… does the job
Generally, we had a good time at this site. It just wasn’t what we expected given the description. We expected 30 acres with room to spread out away from other campers, but instead we were all confined to a small mowed section, maybe 2-3 acres. We were kept up both nights by partiers and generators, and I actually went to confront someone to turn their generator off in the middle of the night. There was also only one toilet for all of us. Finally, while the description says they offer a shuttle to Oregon Country Fair, the price for the shuttle was super unreasonable, and I wish it had been posted on the listing before we purchased our stay. We did enjoy jumping in the creek on a hot day, but again, we felt crowded. Overall this stay was fine, but not worth what we paid.

Calling this a meadow is like introducing an alligator and saying "meet my lizard". Besides cutting up our feet and ankles with the blackberry bush leftovers, we left with a hole through our ground tarp, tent and air mattress from a sharp plant stump! This being the first year that the field was cleared, it could be better next year, especially if all the plant stumps were extracted, and maybe even some grass planted. PS The white dog, Bean, is super wonderful once she knows you.

We had a great time camping here for the Oregon Country Fair. It was super close to the fair, and the hosts were so nice and welcoming. Very cute dogs as well. Definitely a fun scene because everyone else was camping for the fair too!

Easy camp spot in mowed field
Small meadow with lots of others camping next to us. Plenty of space for everyone to park and set up their tents, but similar to a campground where you're close to other groups and can hear their music etc. Beautiful small creek in the forest nearby. The camping meadow is surrounded by forest on one edge and unmowed fields on the other sides. Short dirt road to access the campsites. Easy to find from the street thanks to large signs with arrows!
