Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We have over 40 acres of meadow with the Upper Sprague River flowing through it. One primitive campsite set up for overlanders and light camp trailers with very easy access from the highway. This is a beautiful and pristine piece of the river set up for solitude. If you want to swim, paddleboard, or just relax this is a great getaway spot. The river is calm and safe for children as well so please feel free to bring the family. One primitive campsite along the pristine upper Sprague River. This property has 1/2 mile of completely private river giving you access to swim, float, and explore on both sides of the river. The Sprague is primarily spring fed in this area so the water is warm and the river is calm. Great for the family. Enjoy watching eagles, sandhill cranes, pelicans, otters, beavers, and waterfowl from your site next to the river. At night enjoy a sky without light pollution, offering incredible views of the celestial bodies and milky way. This is a healthy spot to revitalize and recharge. As a bonus we have access to the OC&E trail which is a state maintained hiking and biking trail that runs over 50 miles along the Sprague and into the Klamath Basin.
