Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This dry campsite offers McKenzie River Frontage, Bruckart boat ramp 1/4 mile away. Cougar reservoir and Terwillger Hot Springs within a 10 minute drive . Gas and provisions just 3 miles east. There are local pubs and restaurants with great food and pet friendly outdoor eating! This is a great spot for fishing hiking and mountain biking. Stay for the day or longer.

Not a bad spot. We had to back in as there is no turn around for a camper. Being right on the river is great but Highway 126 is pretty close so if you have dogs be aware. The embankment down to the water is steep. Also to whomever was in sight #1 at the same time we were I apologize for my crackhead water dog and her barking……….

Great Little Escape.
We stayed here over the memorial weekend. We had a wonderful time. Even though the highway was behind us if you park your trailer the right way all you hear is the river. We had fun fishing, hiking and sitting by the campfire with our friends. It’s a great little escape.

Memorial Weekend Camping
The spots were right on the river. It was very peaceful with no other campers around. We got to watch drift boats go by. The highway was close by but the traffic noise did not bother us it was minimal.

This spot was in a great location to access local trails. However, it’s not far off the road and the trees that previously likely provided some privacy have burned. Though the spot itself is very pretty the exposure to the road made it hard to sleep/enjoy the area.

Beautiful Location
This property is at the end of a road. Right on the river with river access down a small 10ft embankment. You can hear road but not enough to be annoying. There is a paved road that’s safe for kids to ride bikes on. Big campsite with nice stone fire pit. There is not a turn around for a long trailer (Excursion plus 30ft trailer) so don’t drive all the way down the road if you are as big as us! You can easily pull into the boat launch area and back down. It’s very close to multiple hiking trails, convenient store, and two great restaurants. Hot Springs are close by too.

Wonderful stay!!
This campsite was absolutely perfect. It felt very private from the road personally and very secluded. The peach was a bit trechorous so be careful going down the small cliff. 10/10 site would book again.
