My Space is a place to rest at ease, weather for a night or more, in your van, car, tent, RV I welcome you. My yard currently has 3 sides fenced in, when the gate is closed. I welcome dogs, Please clean up after them. The deer do roam on the property along with hearing coyotes in the distance, rabbits, skunks & snakes, I have seen & smelled around the property, you will hear peacocks screeching in the morning & evening at first it is a fright. The night sky & sunsets here are breathtaking and Smith Rock is 4 miles away, Redmond Caves & airport are 4.8 miles away. I do have neighbors who like to play music loud at night sometimes, no rhyme to the reason it’s not often but it happens, just a warning, I can’t do anything about it. I have added a gathering area, it has two picnic tables, 2 BQ grills 1 gas fire pit & a chair. It's a place to sit and relax by yourself or with others. 💃 I live on the property so, I look forward to your arrival.I am EXCITED to share my space as well as my BQ grill, outdoor community area. I keep my entrance fence closed unless I know someone is coming. My property has a big yard, well mannered animals are welcome, I request you clean up after your animals. I have a pup who roams the property, the main reason I like to keep the fence closed. I enjoy humans, plenty of space to relax and enjoy the songs of birds and the desert sky. If you're a climber/rafter and looking for a safe p I am about 4.3 miles from Smith Rock.

Tent Camping for two
The host was very kind and personable. Made me feel like I was completely taken care of if I needed anything! Great spot to rest for all your travel needs.

Beautiful & Quiet Campground
I loved staying at Slug Ranch. It was not our first time being here and we will be back. They have really stepped up the campground by installing a heated shower.

Our group had such a great time at slug ranch. Loree was such a great host and has put so much thought into creating a welcoming and enjoyable space for guests. Also, the kiddos loved their time there and immediately asked when they can go back.

Not good if traveling with dogs
Positives: The location is gorgeous and semi private which I really liked. Loree was really nice and the spot had some outdoor chairs and fire pit. Loree welcomes visitors to walk her property and the view from her backyard is stunning. Negatives: Sky line drive is very narrow with tons of branches that will get you no matter careful you are. The site was quite narrow so I couldn’t fully access my storage bay due to the chairs being in the way. While her dogs are SUPER sweet, my dogs didn’t appreciate the constant visits and I spent a lot of time trying to calm them down which really disturbed the calm and peace.
