Located in the area of Rosseau Ontario, this area is known for exceptional cottage experiences. A short 10-minute drive to many area lakes to explore and experiences offered in all seasons including fishing, and boating in Muskoka lakes in the summer, cranberry marsh experience in the fall, and snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biking in the winter- there is something for everyone to explore when staying in this area! Visit Seguin Township and Muskoka Township websites for full listings and details. The cabin is in the middle of a private 5-acre property across from Turtle Lake and spans turtle lake road, to Donnelly and Poke Road, so it’s easily defined by the roads around the land. There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!Enjoy a secluded but well located cabin in the woods- Park your car and take short stroll through an illuminated gravel pathway to the cozy new wood cabin. The main floor has a pull out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, making this an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway. Additional children in the same family are allowed. Enjoy yoga or relaxing in the trees in our Levitat arial mats or enjoy a cozy read in any of the 4 hammocks provided. Enjoy the day with an abundance of lakes 10-15 min away, or take a drive into the town of Rosseau (check out their amazing Friday market!) it's just 10 min away! Hike the 5 acre property and enjoy the fresh air from the pine tree forest. Bathroom facilities are TBD, as we are currently looking into alternative options for Summer 2023. In 2022 the bathroom facility was an upgraded ‘event’ Porto-potty with flushing toilet and sink to wash hands. We hope to have an alternative and better option in place. The cellular reception is also excellent in all areas of the land. There is no direct lake access, but a boat launch (on Turtle Lake) within a 5 min drive and many area lakes to explore.  Please bring your own linens and extra blankets. Perfect for families with kids or as a romantic getaway.

Amazing!
Me and my partner had an amazing time! Sabrina was nice and responsive. Outhouse was clean, lights were pretty, not too many mosquitoes and the cabin's heating system was good making it more cozier. Everything was just as described ❤️ If I had to say something that could be improved I would say inside the cabin can be decluttered a bit. To future visitors I would say definitely bring some wood for the fire pit and check out the Four Mile Point Park nearby - there was hardly anyone there, felt like a private. beach and the sunset view was something that will stay with me for a long time.

Lovely little cabin with two sets of bunk bed cots and a pull out couch. Beautiful shady little spot. Large outhouse with sink, quite nice and well kept. Outdoor dish sink and shower. Outdoor lights, hammocks, and climbing structures made this a unique and memorable stay.

Can't wait to come back
With kids
Not only is Sabrina a friendly, helpful, responsive host, the property is delightful! Everything is as advertised, clean and very well set up for guests. The outhouse is the cleanest one I've been in and not smelly at all. Lots of lakes and activities in the area. My kids loved the ninja line and hammocks. We were lucky to have great weather but if not the cabin is full of games and books. Our family would definitely come here again!

Glamping at its finest
We loved Sabrina’s cabin! It was so relaxing and has everything you could imagine and more! On our first 2 days, the weather was less than ideal (cold and rainy). But Sabrina had everything there for us to make the most of the weather! Lots of games and even a cozy fireplace. The last 2 days the weather was amazing and we got good use out of all the fun outdoor things. We loved the nets up in the trees to lay down in. Super relaxing. We were nervous about the outhouse. But we shouldn’t have been! It was super clean and did not smell. Thank you so much for hosting us! We will be back again 😊
