Safari Eco Tents Package - fe5c
Heartwarming Experience
A magical place where you have the opportunity to step into the lives of hosts Nina and Malcolm, humanitarian and wildlife warriors. This #hipcamp is home to many rescued native animals who now call this safe place home. Suitable for children over the age of 5, Nina’s Ark Wildlife Sanctuary provides a rich and heartwarming experience for families and individuals. Nina and Mal will take you on a personal journey through their home to meet some very cute wildlife friends; possums, wallabies, kangaroos, curlews, owls and many more. We loved learning all about the animals and for many their inspiring story of survival. Thank you for having us Nina and Mal and for making us feel so welcome, the kids will be talking about this for a very long time!

Safari Eco Tents Package - fe5c
If your a native animal lover then Nina's Ark Wildlife Sanctuary is an absolute must do when in Litchfield National Park or the surrounding Darwin area.
This very unique and authentic experience will have you completely in awe from the moment you drive along the driveway.
The safari tents along with the cabin have everything that you will need, along with a woodfire heated shower and the best bush dunny we have ever seen!
The personal feeding tour showcases what is so amazing about this place, Nina's passion and love for our native animals, which is second to none.
While feeding the owl and the kookaburras, the possums and the Kangaroos and also the endangered curlew, Nina points out to each animal, knowing each of the animals by name and explains why each one is here. Some have been injured, others rescued but all are rehabilertad and placed back into the wild, though lots return to live close by to her Sanctuary and its not hard to see why.
After the nocturnal feed, which there are many many possums to feed we sit around the fire and enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner, cooked by her husband Mal and learn more about Nina's passion for native animals and her Wildlife Sanctuary.
