Jake's Farm is an 11 acre organic farm producing vegetables, small fruits, medicinal herbs and tea ingredients. We began our venture in 1997 and added campsites and treehouses in 2015. The farm is conveniently located 8 miles from West Asheville, 11 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 15 miles from Asheville Regional Airport. We have power, water, internet and have put in place a 50% discount until Nov 30 to assist recovery from Helene. ZNP4NS2K is the code for the discount
This campsite exudes a charming tranquility, with its beautiful creekside spots and a welcoming atmosphere that many guests have praised. Chris and Seth, the hosts, are noted for their warm hospitality, ensuring guests feel safe and well-cared for, even accommodating late arrivals. The natural surroundings, including mountain views and a serene creek, create a peaceful retreat perfect for relaxation. While some guests noted minor issues with finding spots at night or the DIY nature of some facilities, the overall experience is highly positive, with many eager to return.
We loved Jake's Farm! The treehouse was so neat and cozy! Chris was quick to respond to questions as well. Jake's Farm was the perfect distance from Asheville and made it very easy to go into town. Overall, great experience, and would highly recommend it!
It was a wonderful day I would go back. I hate that it rained most of the time. That Chris was so nice and just a good spirit. I hope that many more people have the same wonderful experience that I did. and as a person traveling alone, I felt very safe.
Super close to I 40 and 25 minutes to the airport. A working farm with a few different spots, I got in after 10pm and Chris waited to show me to my spot.
Starting this off by saying I clicked the wrong button by accident and HipCamp wouldn’t let me edit it to “Would Recommend”. With that being said, I stayed on a fairly rainy weekend and went into the site knowing the little bit of dirt path could be interesting on the way in/out, so be mindful of that. I met with Seth when I arrived, who by the way would probably give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Awesome interaction and he led me down to the campsite and made sure I was comfortable where I was. Camped right by the creek and left the windows of my travel trailer open so I could hear it at night. The field was cut down for the season so the dog had more than enough room to run around and still the site felt private. Needless to say this will 100% be on my list to visit come spring time and I highly recommend!
Cozy warm in the tree house even with 30s overnight with some snow. Rustic accommodations for the adventurous but with wifi, electricity and shower facilities.
I stayed on site 4 for a week and loved it! The little creek offered the perfect white noise for a good night’s sleep and there’s a decent Mountain View when facing south. The bath house isn’t fancy but it’s clean and the water is hot! As a single female, I felt very safe. Seth & Chris were super awesome hosts and I’d absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
