Site 19 - HorsePower Park
Prior to booking, I messaged the owner to clarify the horseback riding passes. I only needed 1 night but was considering 2 if we could horseback ride the morning before departure. Two messages went unanswered. Needing to solidify a plan, I booked the 2 nights. A few days later, I noticed the call owner feature and called to ask about check in times. She was very friendly and flexible to check in times but clarified that there is no horseback riding. Upon arrival, I couldn't see anything in the dark and there were no signs designating where to go or to camp. The husband arrives on scene in a side by side and guided me to a spot with power hook up, showed me where the bathrooms are located, and asked if needed anything. Very friendly. Loved waking to wide open field. This property is a a sports track for dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. But, without horseback riding, I'm a solo mama bear and had no reason to pay for 2 nights. Actually, I could've just camped at Walmart for one night and saved my ~$60 for food and gas. I text the owner that I was leaving instead of the second night. No response or offer to refund yet.

Kids loved it
Nice riding, not too crowded. Could’ve used a fire pit but we made do.

Amazing!!!
It was amazing! Trails were great, quite wet but that was expected since it recently rained like 5 inches. All of the trails were plenty wide for even our big bear atvs, some places were even big enough for peoples jeeps. There were different spots for all skill levels. From swamps to climbing spots, from mud to pretty easy driving. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. The track and all the jumps were a great warm up for the kids. The hosts were so amazingly nice and helpful. They had everything we needed from air pumps to pressure washers. If we asked a question they didn’t hesitate to do their best to help us out. The bathrooms could use some work and the camp site we chose ended up having quite a bit of hard wood like knobs sticking up. We just moved the tent and pulled up the really bad ones to protect our air mattresses though. Wasn’t a big deal at all. Just wanted to warn others that they might want tarps/extra blankets to go under an air mattress. (Like they poked two holes in the bottom of our tent) Loved how family oriented the place was and the scenery was beautiful. Skies full of stars at night time and Mountain View’s in some areas. We can’t comment too much on the swimming because it was too cold. However we did ride down to the beach and it looked nice! We def want to come back when it’s warm and try the river out. We bet they could even do a small tubing thing if they wanted to. We did not try or ask about the fishing, we just weren’t there long enough this time. Can’t wait to go back! Though it probably won’t be till the spring for us since it’s getting so cold at night now and we live over 2 hours away. Really hope to be able to see this place grow and do great business. Will 100% recommend to friends and family.
