2 miles from and on the same road as Chestnut ridge Park, home of the Legendary Eternal Flame. Only campground in Orchard Park. A humble 3 acres but we offer very intimate sites. There are only 6 sites with all of them having access to the creek, and a recreation area featuring a volleyball/badminton net, cornhole, and at night there is a mini outdoor movie theater with a 10 foot screen where we play a movie when the sun goes down depending on the audience. Park on the road outside the white lines or directly on the side lot where it says Park. Follow arrows to get to site, I will most likely be able to meet you at entrance though to show you around.Eternal flame campground! Located 2 miles from the beautiful 1,200 acre Chestnut Ridge Park, home of the one of a kind Eternal Flame Waterfall. 6 minute drive to the Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium. There are 3 acres of land hidden down the hill of a ravine behind on Newton Road. Each of only 4 intimate sites(first come, first choice) has a decent amount of privacy, a bonfire pit, and everyone has access to the recreation area and creek bed.  The recreation area has a 10-foot movie screen and projector where we often play a movie when the sun goes down (audience appropriate), a volleyball/badminton net, cornhole as well as 3 net cornhole. We have a camping toilet outhouse style with a privacy shelter for your bathroom needs, as well as a drinkable hose connected to the faucet at the campgrounds, directly from the house, with clean well water. Well, water tastes unique, so you might want to bring your own bottled water. We're allowed 10 sites per acre, but instead of 30 sites, I have spaced them out and tried to keep as much nature and privacy as possible for each guest and have made only 4 sites.  The recreation area closes after the movie around 11pm (if we play a movie that night) and guests may continue to have a fire at their private site but are asked to keep a little quieter after these hours per town of Orchard Park ordinance(12am weekends). Infants and toddlers are not advised but allowed under close supervision at your own risk as there are ravines and areas of water at the creek that can be over 5 feet deep after the rains.  There are dozens of species of birds as well as other wildlife roaming around the area, including foxes, deer, groundhogs, and more. At night, it is very peaceful, and almost no traffic is in the area once everyone comes home from work, and stars can be visible on clear nights. We have 2 small charcoal grills, or you can bring your own.

The campsites might be in a neighborhood but once down the hill in the woods you would have no idea there were any houses around. Camping next to a creek was also nice. Sounds of nature. If you want the outdoors but also some comradery, Brenton has a common area shared among campers for games or movies.

Woodsy Camping
This was a good spot to tent & very woodsy even though we were in a residential area. Brenton was very nice and helpful with helping us carry things down to the site & offered to help carry out as well. I would recommend host throwing hay/straw down on some of the paths as it was very muddy & the night before we left it rained pretty good so our site was very wet & we had to balance on sticks/logs to cross mud & puddles. Might be best to pack a good pair of boots to get to and from the campsite or toilet. The location itself was great as we were only about 5min from the eternal flame and not to far from Buffalo. I'm sure it would have been a great spot to see the stars as well but unfortunately I think it was just to cloudy the nights we were there.

Brenton was an amazing host, he helped us take our stuff to the campsite because it was a bit muddy from the rain, he even felt bad that it was muddy and not up to par with what it is supposed to be but we loved it anyways. It’s an extension of his property and you can tell he puts a lot of thought into everything to make sure people have a good time. If you’re looking for an experience that isn’t like any state park camping and more wholesome and like you just decided to camp in the woods, then this is it.
