Located near the confulence of the Hudson and Schroon rivers. Rich in local and regional history.
Some of or most influntial events in our history took place on or near this location.
Henry Hudson the namesake of our beloved river camped on the confluence and met with the native tribes to plot a cource northward.
Our area is rich with the history of the ealy USA.Come camp on the headwaters of the Hudson River and one of its many tributaries where the water is still wild as is the life. Right now there is a large open space to accomodate campers smaller private sites will soon be available. There is only one communal outhouse. Bathing is in the creek or river with biodegradable soap only.
This is a very laid back camp so come enjoy a fire and chill.
As we just had our property logged all the limb wood you can gater is free for the taking. Please do not import any wood we have plenty. Split wood is available for purchase if you don't want to gather your own.

If your looking for rustic basic camping this is for you! Our family and friends love to camp at Patterson creek camp site! Beautiful views with just a short walk up to the river to spend the day in the sun! Night time is so peaceful with the crackling of the fire and the water flowing over the rocks. Definitely recommend!

Brian was a great host. Very understanding with a last minute change. Gave me the run down of the property. Offered any extras I might have forgotten. And he let me know of a party happening the same night as my stay, which I attended and very much enjoyed. Thanks Brian, I’ll look you up next time I head up your way!

Brian was so incredibly helpful and kind! We had gotten delayed and came in late in the evening, he met us at the driveway and helped get us set up with our trailer in the dark. Very communicative and the site was quiet, clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back again.
