Our farm is the largest remaining parcel of a property that was payment to a solider for his service in the war of 1812. We currently have about 60 acres that we actively farm, with our home, barn and trails on the remaining 65 acres. We have several walking trails, a gathering place in the pines, and blind sodus bay creek running along the southern edge. There is also a small pond and stone fences throughout. Located 1.5 miles from the quaint village of Fair Haven and Fair Haven Beach State Park. Sterling Nature Center, Sterling Renaissance Festival and Chimney Bluffs State Park are short drives away. There is water on site for filling up, as well as a portable toilet. This is a very diverse property with a multitude of great spots, creekside, pond side, farm views, pine woods. We will happily show you around and you can take your pick. Please note that we CANNOT guarantee RV access to any premium area due to ground conditions. Read: you could end up in our driveway. To be fair, it’s very long, private and quiet. The best sites are more remote and do not have vehicle access and require walking in, (atv on site for bringing in gear) less than 1/4 mile walk to most areas from parking. Pets are welcome but MUST be leashed with proof of rabies vaccination. Quiet Hours 10 pm- 7am, please be respectful of our property and other campers. We respectfully ask that you do not bring firewood from outside a 50 mile radius for a multitude of reasons. It’s against state law because it can host various foreign pests that can damage crops/living environment and this is a working farm. Local firewood is available from a multitude of sources, including on site.

Great quiet place under the canopy
Owners friendly and easy to talk to. Answered all our questions regarding camp and surrounding area. Camp site was great and would definitely camp here again when we return to the Sterling area.

A Sterling site!!!!
Our hosts were very attentive and kind. We received a welcome package with trash bags, firestarters and other necessaries. The porta-john was stocked with sanitizer and first aid supplies and matches. It inspired us, as we are Hipcamp hosts as well, to add some of their touches to our hosting. We were able to back our truck camper into the shade, set up tents, have a lovely fire, and relax. Delightful. We'll definitely come back!!!

Alisha was super welcoming and provided a great camping experience. The property is absolutely beautiful with multiple choices of campsites. She even gave us plenty of recommendations for what we should do in the area which made our activities off the campsite great too. Also they provided the nicest portable bathroom I’ve ever camped with stocked with hand sanitizer, spf, bug bite relief spray, and other helpful toilettes. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for an easy and safe camp experience!

Great big space with lots of sites to choose from. You can be in the woods or on a field depending on your preference. Similarly, you can opt for privacy or be closer to other potential campers. The sites are still being developed and some still need some more work, but overall it’s a great place. FYI, the provided portapotties were clean and in good shape but I would still recommend it camping too close. Our site was closer than we would have wanted and you could smell the chemicals and see/hear others going to it. But there are plenty of site further away. Hosts were very welcoming.

Nice property to spread out at and well located to visit the Lake Ontario shore. Short drive to Fort Ontario and about an hour to Salmon River falls.

Amazing unforgettable stay at Alisha’s!!! Great location close to nice hikes. Easy to find and Alisha and her husband are amazing hosts. They provided cinder blocks for a fire pit at our chosen campground. They had the cleanest porta potty I’ve ever used with all needed for hygiene. Stayed there for the April 2024 Eclipse and they made a bonfire and created a sense of community with all who stayed. Would certainly stay again even without the eclipse.
