Young Macdonald’s Farm is 100 acres in the Shoalhaven region on the NSW South Coast. It’s a family farm that was historically dairy-based but is moving to regenerative agriculture. Your hosts are Mac and his parents, Gina and Shawn. The property is at the base of Brown’s Mountain, 15 mins from Nowra and the Shoalhaven River, 30 mins from beaches, 15 mins from Berry, and 20 mins from Kangaroo Valley. It boasts private and secluded spaces for camping, two creeks, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We want to share the farm experience and encourage you to be a part of our adventure as we begin this new chapter of a six-generation family farm on traditional Wodi Wodi land.

4. The Old Dairy
A beautiful spot - gorgeous mountain outlook, with a creek nearby. The old Dairy building provided shelter when it was windy, and the smores were an added bonus! The kids loved feeding the animals too. Thanks Shawn, Gina and Mac!

4. The Old Dairy
Such a beautiful campsite! Feels remote but not too far from amenities and still has luxury of toilets. The couple who run it are so friendly and would help with anything you need :)

This is the second time we visited Young MacDonald’s Farm, it was as amazing as last time, breath taking view, generous and hospitable hosts, we could not ask for more. The campsite was spacious, clean and well equipped with comfortable amenities. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come and do it all again.

Shawn, Gina and Mac It was a great experience for my family and our friends to be familiar with you. It was more than a camping in a beautiful campsite. Their warm welcome and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home amidst nature. Sharing the simple joys of feeding the animals with our children added a human touch to the experience, creating lasting bonds and unforgettable moments for all involved.
